摘要
The escalating size of data in the Bitcoin blockchain poses significant challenges in terms of block verification and storage efficiency, characterized as data availability issues. zkRPC is developed to address these challenges by leveraging a decentralized architecture and zero-knowledge proofs (ZKPs) to ensure data integrity and availability while minimizing the requirement of storage. The implementation of zkRPC involves distributing the blockchain data among nodes, where each node stores only a portion of the data but can verify the entirety using ZKPs. Theoretical analyses and practical evaluations of zkRPC demonstrate its effectiveness in reducing storage requirements while maintaining fast and reliable data verification across the network. Our approach not only enhances the scalability of Bitcoin but also improves the storage performance. Overall, zkRPC is shown as a suitable solution for trustless Bitcoin data availability.
