Wireless Charging System for UAVs Based on High-Integration Irregular Asymmetric Coupler and Constant Current Output

摘要

Magnetic coupling wireless charging technology significantly enhances the operational feasibility of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in autonomous mission scenarios. However, existing studies rarely consider the airborne integration between the fuselage structure and the coupler, which may degrade the performance of critical airborne systems. This article proposes a highly integrated airborne coupler for the UAV wireless charging system, which effectively solves the problem of coupling coils interfering with the airborne equipment. Compared with traditional couplers, the proposed irregular asymmetric coupler makes the airborne coil structure more compact and lightweight, for example, it increases the workspace of airborne equipment by 15.8 % and reduces the aircraft payload by 10.3 %, thus greatly improving the airborne integration of wireless charging systems. Meanwhile, by utilizing the LCC-P compensation network, the constant current output characteristic independent of the load can be achieved without the need for secondary feedback control. Finally, the feasibility of the system was verified through simulations.
