摘要

One classic model of third generation-WAVEWATCH-III (Tolman 1999) model was chosen for simulation of the evolution of nearshore wave with no interference of free wind. The terrain and conditions of the test by Jiangsu University of Science and Technology were adopted, and the data obtained from simulation is compared to the one derived from test, thus the feasibility of calculation method was validated. The results can provide a reference for the deeper numerical simulation of wave with this model.
