摘要
Preliminary trials carried out in a test plant are reported on the use of cross-correlation techniques for non-restrictive velocity metering of pneumatically conveyed cement using electrostatic flow sensors. Test results presented in this paper were obtained in a 53 mm horizontal pipeline over a range of velocities from 20 m/s to 40 m/s under dilute phase conditions. A direct comparison between the measured correlation velocity and estimated air velocity is presented and the statistical accuracy of the measurement system discussed.
