abstract = "A probe is a device for observing the radiation level of electronic devices in the near field scanning. The spatial resolution of the probe is essential for measurement. However, there are limitations in the traditional definition of spatial resolution. This article revises the representation object of spatial resolution based on the traditional definition and redefines the definition, considering that it measures the ability of the entire measurement system, not an inherent indicator of the probe Taking a field probe as an example, a more effective representation method of the spatial resolution of the probe is given. Furthermore, a calibration method for the spatial resolution of a probe system with controllable axial distribution of the electromagnetic field over a flat transmission line is proposed. Through electromagnetic simulation and test, it is shown that this calibration method can effectively calibrate the spatial resolution.",
