摘要
Firstly it is discussed that how to build the thermal model of the fiber optic gyro (FOG), and then the simulation results are verified through experiments. The thermal analysis software (Flotherm) based on computational fluid dynamics (CFD) is used to simulate the strapdown inertial navigation system (SINS). Through comparing and analyzing, the steady temperature distribution figure under home temperature is achieved. At last the system implementation is optimized based on the simulation results. It not only helps to reduce the influence of temperature on FOG, but also provides support on theory to the next step's solution of temperature compensation or temperature control.
