The stability analysis of rotational TSS in the neighborhood of collinear libration points

摘要

The study is mainly about the stability research of a rotational TSS which is flying in the neighborhood of collinear Lagrangian points of Earth-Moon system. The equation of motion for the mass center of the TSS and the tether libration is deduced and the simplified planar equation for the mass center is solved. The form of solution indicates that bounded solution and periodical solution are both existed. An iterative numerical method is applied to obtain the periodical solution. The influences of the parameters such as spin rate of TSS are analyzed. Finally, long term motion of TSS with initial value given by the iterative method is simulated and given. The result proves that the rotational TSS can be stable in the neighborhood of collinear libration points for a long time.
