摘要
In the present research, a novel negative electrode, Co3O 4-SBR has been prepared by a co-deposition-sintering method in aqueous solution. XRD analysis indicated that Co(OH)2-SBR obtained by electro-deposition was transformed to Co3O4-SBR after heat-treated under vacuum at 245°C. SEM images show that the CO 3O4 film exhibits a honeycomb structure filled with SBR, in which the wall of honeycomb is about 30-50 nm in thickness. Such CO 3O4-SBR nano-composite layer is stable and can prevent active materials spalling from the substrate effectively. Charge-discharge tests show that the characteristics of Co3O4 electrode, such as specific capacity and cycle life, can be significantly improved by doping SBR, especialy for long cycles. copyright The Electrochemical Society.
