摘要
Polymer-composites of polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) and silicon carbide (SiC) have been prepared by a simple blending and hot-moulding procedure. The enhanced absorption properties at frequencies from 2 to 18 GHz were studied in detail. The results indicate that both particle size and filler loading show a significant effect on absorption properties. For the composites with a filler loading of 5 μ m SiC 50 wt%, the maximum reflection loss of the PVDF/SiC composite can reach -25.8 dB at 9.44 GHz when the thickness is just 2.5 mm, and the frequency bandwidth less than -10 dB is from 3.5 to 18.0 GHz with an absorber thickness of 1.5-5.0 mm. The mechanism for the enhanced absorption properties was also discussed.
