Synthesis and Properties of Conducting Polymer Nanomaterials

Conducting polymer nanomaterials have many interesting properties originating from their unique and changeable structures. This chapter reviews the recent research progress in the preparation and properties of conducting polymer nanomaterials, including hard and soft template methods, method-free method, interfacial polymerization, dilute polymerization, electrochemistry method, and electrospinning method. Afterward, the electronic properties of the conducting polymer nanomaterials that were experimentally controlled by adjusting the reaction parameters and the amount and chemicals used for synthesis will be discussed.
