摘要

This chapter introduces the suspension vibration and the method of transfer path analysis (TPA). First, the excitation of suspension is discussed, which mainly comes from the tire/road or tire/pavement interaction. Second, the basic principle of TPA is introduced, and the frequency response function, structural load identification, and the analysis process in the traditional TPA method are discussed. Then, the basic principle and operational process of operational transfer path analysis (OTPA) are also introduced. The application of TPA method in suspension vibration analysis is investigated, including frequency response function of suspension and body system, load identification of suspension and body system, and TPA of suspension vibration. Finally, the application of TPA method in analysis of structure-borne tire/road noise is discussed.
