摘要
By using the sessile drop method, the wetting behavior between Ni-Ti powders and SiC ceramic was studied, which showed that the wettability of the system was improved by increasing the Ti content, the wetting temperature and the dwelling time. The microstructures of welded area and interfacial reaction products were examined by SEM, EDS and XRD. The results showed that Ti-rich compound layer was in the interface of this wetting system. The types of the resultants at the interface depend on the composition of the original metallic powders and the technological parameters of the test, which were likely to be TiSi2, Ti5Si3, TiC, Ti2Ni and Ni3C. When the content of Ti was 50%, the reaction products mainly consisted of TiC and Ti2Ni, also included Ni3C at low content. A successful wetting of Ni-Ti/SiC system was realized by the liquid transmitter of Ti2Ni and the match of crystal lattice in TiC and SiC.
