Study on structure and luminescent properties of nanosized ZnGa2O4:Mn2+ powders prepared by citrate sol-gel process

摘要

Nanosized ZnGa2O4:Mn2+ powders were prepared by citrate sol-gel process. XRD, SEM, FT-IR, EPR and luminescence excitation and emission spectra were used to characterize the structure, shape and luminescent property of the powders. The results show that pure ZnGa2O4 phase was obtained in the samples sintered at 650°C for 7h and the powders size was about 50nm. Mn2+ ions occupied both the Td sites of ZnGa2O4 and the Oh sites, and optimum luminescent intensity can be obtained after the samples were calcined at 800°C with the doping concentration of Mn2+ being 0.3at%.
