摘要
For future more electric aircrafts (MEAs), due to the increasing gap between larger electrical load requests and limited power, a collaborative control strategy for electrical energy has been proposed. An advanced configuration with electrical generator, energy storage subsystem which consist of super-capacitor and battery is studied. Specifically, the control strategy was applied in the simulation and compared with the traditional generator-only control. The simulation results indicate that incorporating energy storage components into the energy system can improve performance of energy offer ability and efficiency. The controller with battery and super-capacitor assembly significantly improved the average electrical power requirement, and the electrical bus voltage was more stable compared to the other system which has no energy storage system. The simulation results indicate that the energy system which is consist of generator and battery and super-capacitor bank and controlled by a collaborative controller is attractive to provide electrical loads for future MEAs quickly, safely, and effectively.
