Studies on the feedback in DDS

Feedback in decision support systems (DSS) and its basic characteristics are analyzed. The concepts of the decision state feedback and the decision output feedback are introduced, while the corresponding designs of the two feedbacks, man-machine interaction scheme and decision simulation scheme, are proposed based on the adoption of the thoughts and approaches of the cybernetics, human behavior science, man-machine engineering, and systems simulation. And the effects of the two feedbacks on the decision processes are studied. Finally, two examples are analyzed, showing that the proposed feedbacks can well improve the performance and the effectiveness of decision-making.
