摘要
In this paper an improved semi-active car suspension with a magnetorheological damper is studied under deterministic and random excitations respectively. In addition, the passive, semi-active on-off, and active control suspensions are also discussed. Results show that the control tactics is quite successful, which makes passengers more comfortable and has no noticeable influence on the safety and stability of the car. The control tactics is feasible because of the fine characteristics of the magnetorheological damper.
