摘要
Electromagnetic metamaterials can be used to construct a THz intensity modulator which can control terahertz on or off. In this paper, the simulation analysis for key functional structures of the "I-shaped" split ring resonator (SRR) metamaterials terahertz modulator had been completed, the THz transmission spectra were simulated by the software COMSOL, determining the parameters of functional structure which can influence the modulation depth, and thus the device structure was optimized. After optimization device modulation depth reached 74% in theory.
