摘要
Novel core-shell structured Ti/B4C particle reinforced 2024Al composites were fabricated. The 2024Al-10% Ti/B4C composite exhibits a 37.2% increment of yield strength and a reasonable elongation of 6.3% compared to the 2024Al alloy. The promising performance is attributed to the combined effects of Ti particles, B4C particulates and insitu-TiAl3 phase.
