摘要

All-optical silicon-based terahertz amplitude modulation is experimentally and theoretically investigated. Modulation depth >95% is achieved in 0.3-1.5 THz, which agrees well with Drude model, while plasmon resonance is employed in 0.05-0.3 THz.
