摘要

Comparing with that of America and Britain, the reliability engineering of former Soviet Union has its own features. These features are described with the following facts: the concept of reliability assurance, combining reliability engineering with the analysis of failure mechanism, the analysis of system functions, and the relevant disciplines, emphasizing engineering applications, and CAD techniques. The importance of investigating and making use of their experience in the area of reliability engineering is also emphasized.
