Service-oriented solution for aerial warfare entity modeling

摘要

The importance of reusability and interoperability of model in simulation has been widely realized and understood. However, in the traditional simulation system modeling paradigm, such as object-oriented modeling (OOM) and component- based modeling (CBM), a firm planning must be built in advance to ensure the reliability of system development. But this solidifies the associated protocols in the simulation system too. A service-oriented solution for aerial warfare entity (AWE) modeling was proposed. Based on principle of separation of concerns, the solution provides mechanisms for factoring out assembling, coordination and communication logic in the AWE, and then integrates them into a series of flexible simulation support services. These services are designed to follow standard interfaces and fully described for machine processing. So they can support orchestrating and dynamic binding of associated protocols. That is, AWE becomes a servivcetized system which has a higher level reusability and interoperability.
