Sealing performance multivariate two-variance regression analysis method for rubbers

The accelerated aging model of rubber seals was established and the multivariate two-variance regression analysis method for the compression set was also put forward. Then the multivariate regression equation and confidence limit curves with high confidence level and high reliability were given, based on which the calculation methods for the reliable storage life and storage reliability were obtained. The sealing performance multivariate two-variance regression model involves two independent variables associated with test time and temperature respectively; thus it can analyze accelerated aging data under different temperatures simultaneously. The presented method exploits the lengthwise information of the compression set among different test times and can solve the problem of reliability assessment with higher precision.
