摘要

This paper discussed the statistical evaluating methods about position precision of satellite navigation systems, giving the expressions of point/regional positioning precision in detail, then by comparing and analyzing the results based on statistical methods, it can be shown that RMS is better than CEP in describing position precision. And this paper gave reference of evaluating for other performance indexes.
