abstract = "This paper proposes the H∞ control for multi-body aircraft which is connected at the wingtip by a hinge joint. A linear model was developed to describe the multi-body aircraft. Based on the model, trim analysis is conducted to demonstrate the characteristics of multi-body aircraft. A structured H∞ attitude control system was designed to stabilize the aircraft, which can be divided into the longitudinal direction and lateral direction. The results of simulation tests showed that the designed control system had achieved good performance with respect to tracking and disturbance rejection.",
