Reverse Time Migration of EM Wave Based on Divided-Order Multiples

摘要

In electromagnetic survey, the traditional reverse time migration method usually utilizes the primary reflected wave, and suppresses or removes the multiples as noise. Compared with primary reflected wave, multiples have a longer propagation path and can provide additional illumination. In order to obtain a richer imaging profile of underground structure, this paper analyzes the principle of reverse time migration of multiples, and implements reverse time migration of electromagnetic (EM) wave based on divided-order multiples. The numerical results show that, compared with the traditional reverse time migration, reverse time migration of EM wave based on divided-order multiples can extend the imaging range and improve the imaging quality.
