abstract = "In this paper, research progress on double-mode staggered double-vane traveling-wave tube (SDV-TWT) in G-band has been demonstrated. By using the double-mode operation, SDV-TWT can work in both odd mode and even mode, and the working bandwidth can be further increased. Results show that the double-mode double-beam SDV-TWT has a wide 3-dB bandwidth of 70 GHz, and by using the sheet-beam and the double-mode operation together, 470 W of output power with a wide bandwidth over 60 GHz can be get. These results demonstrate the potential of the SDV-TWT in high power and wide bandwidth terahertz power source.",
