Research on visualization in the simulation grid

Two important tools of today's science and engineering are visualization and the Grid, as the Grid infrastructures offer a means to manage different, possibly distributed resources, visualization is the key component of man-machine interaction and aids in understanding the meanings of data. They both accelerate the development of simulation technology. Research on visualization in the Simulation Grid is presented in this paper including: friendly grid portal based on standard Web technology to provide users customized Web based interfaces to access distributed simulation resources; intelligent application deployment wizards to ease the application of Grid technology; visual database/modelbase of three-tier architecture and multidimensional display across Wide Area Network.
