abstract = "A tractor-semitrailer dynamics model is established by vehicle system dynamics and multi-body dynamics analysis. In this tractor-semitrailer dynamics, model steering wheel angle and vehicle longitudinal velocity are input variables. Lateral acceleration, yaw rate, vehicle body roll angle, yaw-articulation angle, and front wheel steering angle are output variables. MATLAB programming is used to guide tractor-semitrailer dynamics simulation analysis based on dynamics model state space and transfer function transformation. Vehicle dynamic characteristics of transient response are researched in small-angle cornering driving. Transient response of dynamics indicator variation is given when a tractor-semitrailer is traveling on small-angle cornering under different longitudinal velocity. Tractor-semitrailer system dynamics and driving safety are evaluated based on the fluctuation frequency of curve characteristic. The results can provide technical support and useful reference for tractor-semitrailer.",
