Research on the theory and experiment of double-frequency modulation for MOG

摘要

To solve the problem of sky-high modulation frequency requirement in MOG (Micro-Optical Gyroscope), a new double-frequency modulation technology based on triangular wave was proposed. The problems of regression time in sawtooth double-frequency modulation wave and the step effect in digital modulation wave were settled. Different detection range and precision correspond to different modulation frequency. The selection of triangular wave parameters and its implement methods were ensured. The affect of the triangular wave turning point was analyzed, and the way to solve was put forward. Finally, the experiment based on integrated optical resonator was accomplished. The FSR (Free Spectral Range) of the resonator is 1. 61 GHz, when its FWHM (Full Width at Half Maximum) is 30. 1 MHz. The feasibility and superiority of the triangular modulation is validated.
