摘要
The chips at different cutting velocities in orthogonal machining of TC4 were collected and the structure of the adiabatic shear localization was examined via SEM after polishing and eroding. The simulation results and experimental results of the micro geometrical dimension were compared. The results indicated that the simulation model simulated the micro geometrical dimension of serrated chips well. The formation of shear localized chips was investigated using simulation method and the distribution of the effective stress, the effective strain, the effective strain rate was analyzed.
