Research on SCPS-NP routing protocol

摘要

Future spatial network will be a large-scale wireless communication network with dynamic topology, where current routing protocols have been found unsuitable for use. Although CCSDS designed SCPS-NP protocol for spatial network several years ago, they could not definitely offer a point-to-point routing algorithm. To resolve the problem of SCPS-NP routing, this paper analyzed general networking specifications in detail, studied the flooding routing algorithm in SCPS-NP protocol. A novel routing algorithm, called "optimized mobile IP routing algorithm based on QOS", was proposed. To verify the correction of this algorithm, a practical simulation module about NS2 network was designed and simulation results of traditional mobile IP routing and improved SCPS-NP routing was provided. Through the simulation results comparison of different routing algorithms, optimized routing algorithm based on QOS (improved SCPS-NP routing) can achieve better network performance, so it can be served as an optional algorithm for SCPS-NP point-to-point routing and future spatial network.
