Research on Modeling Methods for Equipment Utilization Tasks Incorporating Environment

摘要

Utilization tasks are a structured collection of interrelated operational activities conducted by various equipment to achieve specific objectives under certain environmental and temporal conditions. Utilizing task models is of significant importance in the justification, design, and validation of equipment. Considering that existing utilization task modeling methods often overlook the influence of environmental factors, a formalized description method for utilization task elements is proposed based on the Hard System Methodology (HSM), encompassing objective, equipment, activity, relationship between activities, and environment. This forms a utilization task model framework that includes task hierarchy models, task logic models, task temporal models, and task environmental models. Drawing inspiration from the utilization task modeling approach provided by the Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF) meta model, environmental factors during utilization tasks are correlated with activities, proposing a comprehensive framework and process for modeling equipment utilization tasks incorporating environment, and exploring the application directions of utilization task models based on this framework. Finally, a case study is conducted on a certain firepower assault equipment system of systems (SoS), where utilization tasks are modeled for five core equipment types: reconnaissance equipment, command equipment, defense equipment, attack equipment, and support equipment. Environmental factor analysis is carried out for these core tasks, validating the rationality of the proposed utilization task modeling method and providing new insights for the construction and application of utilization task models under complex battlefield environments.
