摘要
Matching algorithm is the most important and widely-studied part of terrain-aided navigation system. The research is focused on not only its principle and procedure but also the influence of application conditions on matching precision. In this paper, the influence was studied for TERCOM of terrain characteristics, map resolution, initial error, INS error, vehicle speed, and matching length affects on matching precision. Some results, which are useful for matching algorithm's application, were concluded in the end.
