Research on dynamic model of CFB combusting anthracite coal

Due to a series of advantages, CFB Boilers combusting anthracite coal starts to widely spread. Compared with bituminous coal, anthracite coal is much more difficult to take fire and combust completely. For these two characteristics, an ignition model and a combustion model of anthracite coal were proposed, and were applied in a 440t/h CFB simulator. Because the melting point of ashes in some anthracite coal is quite close to CFB bed operating temperature, it is easy to coke in boiler, then a coking model of anthracite coal that can show the coking phenomena qualitatively was also proposed.
