Research of multi-configuration design method

In order to achieve the reuse of the configuration knowledge during the configuration design process, we propose the multi-configuration design method (MCD) and introduce the process of the MCD. The configuration process can be divided into multiple re-useful configure units. The configure unit contains a set of configuration attributes and several configuration operations. A new adaptive product can be described as a template product adding several configure units. We use incidence matrix to describe the configuration model and configuration operations, and use adjacency matrix to calculate the configuration results. Finally, a sample configuration is introduced to valid the multi-configuration design method.
