N2 - The study focused on ground equipment and aimed to establish a comprehensive assessment method for equipment Reliability, Maintainability, and Economy (RME). To achieve this, a comprehensive assessment index system and model have been developed, in which three comprehensive technological and economic indicators have been proposed, namely the total present value cost (CAll), the unit use cost (CAv), and the average annual service life cost (CYear). These indicators take into account factors such as wear and tear, depreciation, technical progress, and real-time expenditure during the use of equipment. Additionally, the production efficiency coefficient has been introduced as a parameter. The corresponding assessment model has been established. Based on specific technical and economic needs, a method for decision-making on equipment renewal is proposed. The method considers the sequence of equipment use process affected by tangible and intangible losses, and introduces the production efficiency coefficient, time value of currency coefficient, and residual value of equipment after use into the model calculation. A validation calculation was performed on a case vehicle to apply and validate the indicator system, model, and update decision method.
