摘要
Energy storage has become critical due to the development need in sustainable energy to address energy security and environment concern. In this report, we introduce the development of a novel rechargeable metal air (RMA) battery for energy storage applications. The unique feature of high energy density and the technical challenges for this RMA battery have been discussed. Recent progresses on technology development at GE R&D center to overcome these challenges have been elucidated.
