摘要
The numerical simulation of spray combustion is widely encountered in power engineering, transportation, chemical and metallurgical, aeronautical and astronautical engineering. In recent years, the large-eddy simulation(LES) becomes more important not only in fundamental studies, but also in engineering application, especially in the modeling of spray combustion in internal combustion engines and gas-turbine combustors. LES can give the detailed development of flow and combustion processes and its statistical results are more accurate than those given by the RANS modeling; hence it is considered as a perspective CFD method. However, some problems, such as the sub-grid scale models and detailed experimental validation, remain to be solved. In this paper, a brief review is presented and some unsolved problems are discussed.
