摘要

This paper presents a real-time video server supporting video capturing, encoding and transporting. The server is based on embedded Linux, and featured by H.263 encoding technology and RTP/RTCP transporting protocol. After an introduction to the organization of the system, the paper gives the implementation of four functional modules including video capturing, format converting, H.263 encoding and RTF transporting. Experiment results indicate that the system can adapt to various bandwidth while guarantees video quality.
