摘要

Stretch-wrap bending of rectangular hollow section aluminum profiles is investigated with the software PS2F, which is specially developed on an analytical algorithm aiming at the simulation of profile stretch 2D forming process as well as generation of a NC code to control the movement of the jaws of the machine. The focus is on the effect of bending radius, bending angle and material properties of profile on springback of the ends of the formed part with single curvature when the loading path of the jaws are automatically determined by the software PS2F. The results show that springback of the part ends increases exponentially with the increase of bending angle for a certain bending radius. For the same amount of bending angle, the springback increase linearly with the increase of bending radius. And for both the same bending radius and the same amount of bending angle, material properties of the profile have a definitive influence on the springback.
