abstract = "The problem of project scheduling based on risk mitigation attracted researchers' attention in recent years. A few researchers provide some models and approaches to the problem. In this study, we apply Kili{\c c}, Ulusoy and {\c S}erifoǧlu's model to research a real-life case of aviation equipment R\&D project. A convenient and effective solution approach is provided. In the solution approach, we discuss how to give acceptable and appropriate parameters. The results show that the model is applicable to some projects and some situations, but it has to be improved for aviation equipment R\&D projects.",
