N2 - D riven by the urgent demand for high-power energy storage systems in new energy vehicles and high-end portable electronic devices, re-search on optimizing the fast-charging performance of graphite anodes has become a forefront topic in lithium-ion batteries. This review sys-tematically analyzes the kinetic limitations mechanisms of graphite anodes during rapid lithium intercalation/deintercalation processes. It particular-ly focuses on critical failure mechanisms such as lithium dendrite formation, interfacial side reactions, and structural degradation. From the per-spective of multi-scale material design, recent advancements in enhancing the fast-charging capability of graphite anodes are comprehensively re-viewed, including crystal structure engineering, micro/nano structural design, electrode-electrolyte interface modification, and tailored electrolyte formulation. By elucidating the structure-property relationships and interfacial regulation mechanisms, this work provides theoretical insights and technical guidance for constructing high-performance fast-charging graphite anode systems. Furthermore, a prospective outlook is presented on the future development of high-performance lithium-ion batteries.
