摘要
This paper is focused on a new control method to lower the power loss of the active magnetic hearing (AMB) in magnetically suspended control moment gyro (MSCMG). The problem is that, when outputting torque, the copper loss of AMB is approximately proportion to the square of the output torque, ignoring the power loss introduced by gravity. In the present article, by employing the method that permanent magnetic generates the force introduced by the output torque, the power loss of the AMB was greatly cut down. Theoretical analysis showed that the power loss of the AMB could reduce nearly to zero using the new control method. The experiment showed that the new control method could reduce the power loss to 34% when the MSCMG outputs torque 21Nm.
