N2 - Concerning spaceborne SAR-ATI for ground moving targets indication, a fully automatic new detector named 'Two-Step Fitting Gaussian Function' aiming at detection of targets in high level clutter and noises is proposed. The method succeeds by setting the threshold of magnitude, phase and Gauss-magnitude-phase for the output signals from SAR-ATI. This paper also focuses on threshold setting of the method and performance curve of Pfa, PD, MDV for different CNR, SCR and coherence. Results show the effectiveness of the method and dependence of performance on multifactor such as CNR SCR or coherence.
