Optimization of spares supply based on integrated supply performance measure

On the basis of the analysis of spares supply performance measures such as spares support probability, operational availability, supply availability, fill rate, complete rate and backorders, the concept of the integrated supply performance measure is introduced. The connotation and the mathematical formula of the measure are built, and the function and the application scope of the measure arc analyzed. The model of optimization of spares requisition configuration with the integrated supply performance measure being objective and the cost being constraint is built, and the optimization algorithm based on marginal analysis is proposed. Finally the model is concretely analyzed by a case.
