Optimization modeling of autonomous support with battery replacement for swarm UAVs

摘要

Autonomous battery replacement support can greatly enhance the mission sustainment capability of unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) performing complex missions. In this paper, we analyze the spatiotemporal correlation characteristics of complex missions of swarm UAVs, establish a swarm UAV mission network model to describe the quantitative relationship between the battery power and the routing, put forward a swarm UAV autonomous battery replacement support process model, and carry out an analysis of the average self-sustaining time of the swarm autonomous battery replacement under the dynamic threshold of the battery. A swarm UAV range optimization model under autonomous power exchange mode is established, which can optimize the maximum average range of a swarm UAV under a given battery resource constraint. Decision support is provided for the development of autonomous power exchange guarantee scheme for swarm UAVs.
