摘要
To suppress the masking effect of weak targets due to the range sidelobes of stronger targets, the commonly used mismatched filter is introduced. In this paper, we propose a novel optimal design of mismatched filters with a controllable maximum loss. The optimization problems to minimize the integrated sidelobe level (ISL) or the peak sidelobe level (PSL) are established, respectively. It has the capability to flexibly control the maximum loss of signal-to-noise ratio and the mismatched filter characteristics by weighted functions. Then, the constrained optimization problems are solved by transforming into the second-order cone programming problems. Simulations relative to P4 polyphase code prove the validity of the design approach.
