abstract = "To investigate the internal flow field characteristics of nitrous oxide/propane gas-liquid coaxial swirling injector, three-dimensional CFD(Computational Fluid Dynamics) model of injector was built, CFD software Fluent was used to perform the numerical simulation analysis for the internal flow field of swirling injector and annular injector. Three-dimensional compressible Reynolds time-averaged Navier-Stokes equations with κ-ε turbulent model were utilized, and the Volume-of-Fluid method was used to simulate the swirling flow and capture the interface between gas(nitrous oxide) and liquid (propane). The predicted results show the gas-liquid two-phase flow field in swirling injector under different pressure drops and spout lengths, and the effects of pressure drop and spout length on mass flow rate, spray half-angle, film thickness and outlet velocity of swirling injector were studied; show the gas nitrous oxide flow field in annular injector under different pressure drops, and the effects of pressure drop on mass flow rate of annular injector were studied. All of the simulation results can be used as reference for new nitrous oxide/propane green bipropellant liquid engine research.",
