摘要
A method of numerical modeling and parameter identification for a Kevlar laminate is proposed in this paper because of the complex mechanical behaviors and inaccurate parameters under the condition of hypervelocity impact. In the method, an orthotropic constitutive model, Chang-Chang failure model, and a finite element method are selected to describe the mechanical behaviors of Kevlar laminates; furthermore, the successive response surface technique is applied to identify the inaccurate parameters. Minimum least square residuals between simulation results and test results are taken as optimization objective. By using the method, eight numerical models for Al projectile impacting Kevlar laminates, are modeled and the four parameters of failure criteria are identified. Numerical simulations have demonstrated the effectiveness of the proposed method.
