摘要

A novel structure fiber optical gyro is proposed. It consists of a pair of calcite crystals oriented by 45° and adhered together, in which a polarizer and two directional couplers are integrated. Comparing with traditional IFOG, it has the advantages of simple structure, stability, small volume and low cost. The operation principle and method for signal detection are theoretically analyzed.
